The barong

Our logo

BDP’s logo is inspired by the Balinese Barong, a powerful figure in Balinese mythology. The Barong is a panther-like creature, revered as the King of the Spirits and the leader of good forces and protection.

He is the eternal adversary of Rangda, the demon queen.

The battle between Barong and Rangda is famously depicted in the vibrant Barong dance, symbolising the struggle between good and evil. This duality reflects the Balinese Hindu philosophy of balance, where neither force can fully triumph over the other, emphasising the need for harmony

Delivering dreams with details

Together, we establish a clear insight into your dream villa. Understanding your wish listand primary property uses, we will design and balance your favourite villa’s features.

From the serenity of a private yoga pavilion to the refreshing novelty of outdoor bathrooms and ice baths, the elegance of a floating pool, and the tranquil beauty of koi fish ponds – we weave your dreams into the fabric of your villa. Whether it’s a dedicated space for surfboard storage or any other bespoke little detail, we transform your vision into a tangible reality.

From the big picture we move to the small things that matter: A place for everything and everything in it’s most convenient place. We are ‘creatively pragmatic’, integrating practicalities with must haves in a smart way.

Our work path efficiently leads us to realising your dream.

Good Vibes Only

Good Vibes Only

Our Environment sets the tone

Respecting Balinese culture, we integrate simple traditions and rituals, from the ‘breaking ground ceremony’ before starting construction, to the simple unobtrusive daily blessings of the house and grounds.

These cultural practices of inviting protection from the Gods hold great importance for Balinese employees and their respect for you honoring their culture.

At every stage we believe everyone should feel privileged and proud of their contributions. This ethos is fostered through a positive work environment and respect for individual skills. Nowhere is this more crucial than during the construction phase.

Maintaining a clean and safe build environment is beyond our core, it’s who we are. We don’t delegate responsibilities, we are personally involved from our first contact, through every step of your project, and hopefully beyond.

Many of our lasting personal friendships were born professionally.
